A Raman spectrometer is an analytical instrument based on the Raman scattering effect, used to detect the molecular structure, chemical composition, and physical properties of substances. By irradiating the sample with laser light, collecting the scattered light, and analyzing the changes in its frequency, a Raman spectrometer can provide "fingerprint" information of the sample. It is widely used in fields such as chemistry, materials science, biomedicine, and pharmaceuticals. The Raman spectrometer series provided by Dimension-Labs covers a spectral range of 200–3000 cm⁻¹, including two types: handheld and portable. Whose performance parameters meet the requirements of industrial production, teaching, and scientific research scenarios.

Raman Spectrometer

1. Laser: When the laser irradiates the sample, the light scattered from the sample includes Rayleigh scattering, Stokes Raman scattering, and anti-Stokes Raman scattering.

2. Dichroic Mirror: Based on differences in light wavelength, it reflects the laser light while transmitting the scattered light emitted by the sample.

3. Raman Light: The Raman light is dispersed by a diffraction grating.

4. Detector: The detector detects and generates the spectral graph.

application

  • Materials Analysis: 2D materials, quantum dots, nanomaterials, etc.

  • Life Sciences: DNA/RNA analysis, cell analysis, disease diagnosis, early cancer detection, etc.

  • New Energy: Lithium-ion battery research, solar cell module research, etc.

  • Pharmaceuticals: Pharmaceutical component identification, active ingredient determination, polymorph screening, chemical reagent R&D, etc.

  • Geology and Astronomy: Planetary rocks, soil, celestial body surface composition, fossils, etc.

  • Art and Archaeology: Pigments, ceramics, cultural relic restoration, etc.

  • Food Safety: Pesticide residue detection, meat product detection, dairy beverage detection, plastic detection, etc.
