The HP6000 and HP6000T series are smart high-voltage passive probes (100:1) for 2000 V or 4000 V peak with 400 MHz bandwidth. They are the first probes to match the oscilloscope input capacitance with a dial instead of square-wave calibration and a trimming tool, covering 8–23.5 pF in 0.5 pF steps.
A rotating channel ring replaces coloured identification bands, and the probes support oscilloscopes with automatic attenuation detection. The T versions have a lower 5 pF input capacitance.
