The DL-GJQF1 series is Dimension-Labs' top-performance vibration-isolated optical table. Inverted-pendulum pneumatic (air-floating) isolators isolate both vertical and horizontal vibration and automatically re-level the table top after loading. Floor vibration at 5 Hz and 10 Hz is reduced by about 90% and 98% respectively, making it suitable for interferometry, laser systems, precision metrology and other vibration-sensitive experiments.

The table top is 12Cr13 ferromagnetic stainless-steel top with M6 tapped holes on a 25 mm × 25 mm grid, flatness 0.1 mm/m² and textured matte finish (Ra 0.8–1.6 µm).

Table Construction

  • Welded steel-grid core: 6 mm steel plates welded into a cross-grid core and stress-relieved by high-temperature tempering and ageing. Heavy and very rigid, with minimal deflection under heavy loads and no risk of debonding. 22 standard sizes from 900 × 600 mm up to 6000 × 1500 mm.
  • Bonded honeycomb core (models ending in -A): Stainless top plate, sealed isolation-cup layer, bonded honeycomb core and steel bottom plate. Lighter and easier to move and install; the dust-proof cups stop liquids and debris entering the core and block air flow between tapped holes. 13 standard sizes from 900 × 600 mm up to 2400 × 1500 mm.
