The VHBB 9124 is a 4:1 broadband antenna balun/holder with cascaded matching, designed primarily for biconical elements such as BBA 9106 or BBAL 9136. It can also be used with rod elements as a dipole with improved bandwidth.
It provides strong symmetry (common-mode rejection), especially from 20 to 40 MHz, where cable-braid current can otherwise cause large measurement error.
- Frequency range with typical elements: about 20–600 MHz (e.g. with BBVK 9138)
- 50 Ω N connector; holder length/diameter 0.58 m / 22 mm; weight about 0.9 kg
- Element fixture 10 mm; max. power typically 10 W (RX combinations)
