Product Introduction

The MDA-550 Series III is a handheld motor-drive analyzer built on the 190 Series III ScopeMeter platform. Guided setups show where to connect voltage and current for the drive input, DC bus, drive output, motor input and shaft. It measures voltage, current, DC bus ripple, unbalance, harmonics and shaft voltage discharges, and it can generate as-found and as-left reports. It is also a 500 MHz, 4-channel isolated oscilloscope.

Digitizer resolution is 8-bit, the same as the 190 Series III. Real-time sampling is up to 5 GS/s depending on how many channels are on.
