The CTA series are ultra-high-accuracy zero-flux (fluxgate) current transducers that measure DC and AC current from 20 A to 2000 A with accuracy down to 0.005% (50 ppm) and bandwidth up to 1 MHz. Fluxgate technology gives excellent linearity, very low DC offset and temperature drift, low insertion loss, strong immunity to external fields and low noise.

The primary conductor passes through the sensor aperture, and the secondary current output feeds a power analyzer, precision DMM or, through the CK05 precision shunt, an oscilloscope or DAQ. The sensors are powered by the PS200 series supplies. Typical uses are high-accuracy current feedback, calibration, energy measurement, medical equipment and EV electronics.
