The CGO-51000 is a battery-powered millimeter-wave comb generator and broadband EMC reference signal source covering 1 GHz to 40 GHz in 1 GHz steps — the highest-frequency comb generator in the Com-Power lineup.
5G FR2 mmWave site verification — covers the 24, 28, 37, and 39 GHz 5G bands plus automotive radar (24, 38, 76–81 GHz partial coverage), satellite communications, and CISPR 32 / FCC Part 15 emissions through 40 GHz.
Integral stub antenna with protective cover on a circular chassis ground plane produces a uniform omnidirectional radiated reference signal; supports both vertical and horizontal polarization to match receive antenna orientation.
Catches mmWave faults missed by annual NSA calibration — at millimeter-wave frequencies, even tiny connector contamination or wear causes severe degradation; daily checks detect cable, antenna, or preamp faults before invalid data accumulates.
1 GHz step provides 40 well-separated reference markers across the microwave / mmWave spectrum, easy to identify on spectrum analyzers without harmonic crowding.
OATS, SAC, and FAC verification at mmWave frequencies — the only practical reference source for daily site checks at 26 GHz, 28 GHz, and beyond, where traditional calibration methods are slow and expensive.
25 ppm frequency stability ensures comb teeth stay aligned to receiver bin centers across the full 40 GHz span over weeks of repeated daily checks.
Compact 7″ × 1″ (17.8 × 2.5 cm) circular chassis, 2.5 lbs (1.1 kg); 18+ hours battery life on 6 V NiMH. NIST-traceable calibration; ISO 17025 available. Three-year warranty.
